Tail Of The Week --- Emmanuelle Chriqui

Well, I saved this choice for midway through my "Tail of the Week." I fell in love with her back when I first saw her in National Lampoons Adam and Eve. I just cant put my finger on what it is about her, but once I figure it out I will blog about it again.

Then again.... does the Tail of the Week need a reason? Do I need to justify why I think shes hot? Or do I just need to supply the masses with photographs of sexy women?? Hmmmmm questions that may not have answers.

Or perhaps I don't care about the details of it, I mean, after all I am going to post whoever I want in this section despite if everyone else thinks shes hot or not.

Tail Of The Week --- Kristen Bell

So every week for the past month or so I have been tasked with choosing a new hottie for my section. Let me tell you that this has been getting more and more difficult each week.

I am trying to pick mainstream people, but also choose a few that are more out of the norm in order to keep interests up.

I promise that a few of these weeks I will throw in some bonus stuff, maybe even some clickable content for all the male listeners. Just a little something to spice things up a bit.

This weeks choice believe it or not stems from my boredom at work. I happened to come across the Teen Choice awards the other day, and thought to myself HMMMMM, what better way to scope out some new material for my section. So I recruited some of the fellas from the shop and yell for me when someone worthy of my section comes along.

I heard various calls for people, but when I was summoned to check out this little vixen, I knew she was the Tail Of The Week.

World... meet Kristen Bell. Some of you know her from Forgetting Sarah Marshall, others will know her from Veronica Mars or Heroes. I just know her from the funny tingly feelings she gives me in the marble sack.

Woop! chalk up another hottie, and another woman on my list of desirables.

I'm going to go a little old school here and stray away from the "popular" girls that are blasted all over the news and tabloids right now, and go back to one of my all time favorites.

I have always said that this is absolutely the one Hollywood "fantasy" girl that if I was in a committed relationship, I would cheat with.

Hands down, don't care who knows it. If this woman walked up to me, done deal. I wouldn't have to think twice.

Tail Of The Week --- Jessie James

Ok, I am going to be brutally honest here. I have NO CLUE who this woman is. I havent listened to her music, or know anything about her. But I can assure you I will be checking into it very soon.

I stumbled upon this chick because of Jamie and her random music of the week section. Its where Jamie plays the tunes that are in the current top 40 playlists of most radio stations.

SOOO, I grabbed my trusty Apple device and googled who she was.

And that ladies and gentlemen is history. That simple google search is all it took. I am speechless. Jessie is absolutely beautiful, and apparently according to some of these pictures she can play the guitar. Who knew?? LOL, ok more honesty. MOTORCYCLE FEVER!!!!!!!!

Ok, so its been a long time since I blogged. Sue me!!!

You wanted it, here it is!

So after many years of thoughtful contemplation, and by getting hooked up by my friend DJ from The Cripsy and Toasty Show. I decided it was time to enroll in Motorcycle Safety school to make a valiant attempt at earning my endorsement.

So with baited breath I stepped into the menacing classroom and prepared to learn. For those of you who truly know me, school bores me, learning in a classroom bores me. Blah Blah Blah illegal turns, blah blah blah right of way, blah blah blah wear a helmet. However I have been blessed with the gift of taking tests very well. So, after fighting to stay awake for 4 hours, and downing 6 cups of coffee I stared at the written portion of the test. 5 minutes later I was done and turning it in to the instructor.

Now I know what your going to say, 5 minutes for 50 questions, you must have failed. WRONG. I aced the test. There were only two students to get 100% scores, and I managed to land one of them.

Whew... that monkey was off my back. Now show me to the bikes, I wanna ride.

Mind you being that its Florida, apparently I decided to take this class at the hottest time of year. I don't know what is going on with the weather here in Central Florida, but it should by NO MEANS be 95 degrees in the middle of May. WTF!!!!

And of course, in lieu of wearing a long sleeve shirt for the driven part, I elected to wear my Harley Davidson leather jacket. Thanks to the wonderful people at Real Radio and The Monsters I won said jacket a few years ago in a contest. No way I would pay close to $500 bucks for a jacket, BUT my motto has always been. "If its free, its for me!!!!"

BIG MISTAKE. I think I lost about 25 pounds in sweat. It was brutal!

Now mind you, it was incredibly hot for the 10 hours of riding instruction, but low and behold, when it came down to taking the actual graded part of the riding test, here comes Mother Nature.

Torrential downpour, thunder, wind. I thought it couldn't get any worse.

HOWEVER........

I passed. Sorry for the huge setup. I know everyone was waiting for a big ending, like I got struck by a bolt of lightening or something.

Not everyone in the class passed. A few people dropped the bikes in the rain, one person wrecked. Instant fail!! Boy does that suck, to make it that far and not pass.

But, minus 13 points for various indiscretions, I passed. WOOP!!!

Now I have the fever. All day today I thought about riding. It didn't help that a co-worker of mine rode his cruiser into work today. I found my mind wandering about being out on the road.

Is this how the proverbial biker thinks? Do they daydream all day of riding? Is this a passing fad for me??

Only time will tell. I need to find a bike of my own, or find someone who doesn't ride or has an extra bike and lets me mooch off them until I can get my own.

Thanks to my friend Aby, who let me take his bike for a spin today. It was just what I needed to clear my head.

I think I found a new hobby!

Leprechaun Traps and Danny Dred

o much has happened since my last blog, or lack of blogging, however you want to look at it.

We have left the CSB studios for reasons beyond our control and have built our very own.

We purchased all our own state of the art equipment and have begun to broadcast again with just a small vacation. So WOOP to us, and a big thanks to all of you that stuck it out and waited for our return.

SOOO.. Leprechaun Traps!!! My sons school sent home a requirement for some parental homework. Pretty nice of them huh, I thought I was done with all this school stuff. But I digress, I jumped into making this creation with a little vim and vigor. Of course my son lost interest after about 6 minutes of building this thing, but VOILA!!

I came up with this!! Hopefully we will catch some sweet Leprechauns in this sucka.

Now, what can I say about Danny Dred and Rising Lion. Holy Cow! I was blown away.

Now Jamie and Nos can tell you that I have never been a huge fan of Reggae music, but with an open mind I waited for Danny to show up and play for us.

Let me tell you, he has certainly made me a fan for life! His voice was so mellow and soothing. He took me to a place in my mind that caused total relaxation and I was digging the vibe.

It took me back to the days of my last cruise, sipping rum and

visiting all the private islands.

Update 2-19-09

Been awhile since I updated this page, figured it was about time.
HEYYY!! Doesnt the new site look great? Jamie did a great job updating everything and we are happy with how it came out. Send her some kudos guys, she works long hours and doesnt get paid for this, so lets keep her happy :)

So, we have been moved into Studio "C", I am not really liking it, but until they make the updates and repairs to our normal studio we will make due. I just hate getting in a routine and having things a certain way, and then having to change them. Minus the fact some of the equipment wasnt working, but we powered through it. Its all good, and this week will be better.

I have successfully passed out the promotional decals we had made up, so I will have to make some more before we can get them out to people. If anyone still wants one, shoot me an email.
I have also talked to a few people about T-Shirts so those should be coming soon.

Thanks to everyone who came out last week after the show and had a few drinks with us. We are going to try to do that as often as we can. We had a nice crowd and hopefully it will get bigger each time.

I am excited about next months feature band, stay tuned for more info.

First Blog of 2009 -- Late Entries -- and MONSTER TRUCKS!!!

HOLY 2009 Experience Listeners!!!

This year has started off with a bang! Lots of things are happening around The Experience Compound. Where to begin... where to begin.

Finally figured out the issues with the studio, got that all working again. We have Jamie well seated in place and is fitting in nicely. Although I have heard from some listeners that you all feel I am too mean or hard on her. BAH! Jamie is tough, she can hang with me have no fear.

Besides, don't let the sweet lovable on air Jamie fool any of you. Shes a mean as a snake. She would chew through her own leg if she was caught in a bear trap. Ive seen her eat bowls of steel and gunpowder and spit out bullets. Mean to Jamie.. HAH... I scoff at all of you. :)

However I will say that it feels so good to have her eat a little crow on the air last Friday about her being wrong about Bulk Shopping. Score one for Tail, Try harder next time.

OK, enough with the formalities, on to the meat and potatoes. MONSTER TRUCKS!!!

The Experience took a little outing together out to check these beasts out and have a little R&R time together as a show. We brought little Thomas with us, Nos's son, and he was beaming from the time we got there to the time we left.

I know we brought Jamie, and I was excited that this was her first time seeing Monster Jam. But there is something manly about this event no matter what age you are, that brings the boys closer together. Sitting next to Thomas was a treat for me, I remember when my kids first went to the show, and the look on their faces. Thomas had that same look, and I am SOO glad he loved it.

Now, there are the crowd favorites, but I myself am torn between two rivals, and I cannot figure out which one i love more. Gravedigger or Maximum Destruction. Both of these guys put on one hell of a show each for the crowd, and have no problems completely demolishing these trucks just for our pleasure. I love it love it love it, and cant wait till next year.

HAPPY HOLIDAYS

Well loyal Experience listeners, we have made it through phase one of the holiday season. I will start off by saying my birthday was one of the best I have had in a long time. I didnt really get any magical gifts hitting the big 35, but I spent the afternoon with my brother and his fiance and we drank wine and laughed all night, it was fun and I thank my family for bringing me such joy.

Christmas Day started off stressful and irritating, but later that evening it turned back to happy and the spirit of the day once again washed over me. My friends really made this holiday a good one and I want to thank each and every one of them for it. I love you guys, you are my greatest friends and I am lucky to have you.

With New Years around the corner I am wondering where we will end up to share in the festivities. I like the feeling of the New Year, a fresh start if you will to a year that has been an extreme roller coaster for those that know me close.

So if anyone has any good New Years ideas or know of local Orlando things to do shoot me an email at tail@theexperience.fm and I will answer each one of them.

The show has been on vacation and will be returning on Wednesday Jan 7th from 7-9 PM. We have decided to move the show along and start doing it twice a week and changing the time slot.

So for the moment the show will be on Wednesdays and Fridays from 7 -9 PM.

I would also like to make a shout out to some good friends, DJ John and Crispy who will also be doing a program on Ustream. I will post details of their show as well as times as soon as they become available.

So, on that note, I will leave everyone with a small token of holiday cheer to round out the season.

Ok, wow! Everything is happening so quickly. Getting the show, the website and now being able to have my own section for you guys to look at and share little bits of insanity coated with tidbits of truth, anger, mischief and occasionally sanity.

Sorry about this weeks show, but unfortunately even in this technological age we are at the mercy of equipment. Apparently the board had some issues and the sound wasn't working properly. But after a few beers that night with the members of the show we decided that next week will just be bigger and better.

Christmas is rapidly approaching, and my apprehensions about the holiday are slowly turning into happiness. I love being able to give the people in my life who I love and need more than anything small tokens to show them I care. I have more joy in giving than receiving and am happy that I am blessed with that feeling.

SOOO, on that token I will leave you all with something that makes me giggle each time i see it. This ones for you Justin.. Merry Christmas you big jerk...
